The Curaçao Tourist Board proudly supports the Heineken Regatta Curaçao.
The Caribbean’s Hidden Treasure, Curaçao, provides the ideal conditions for a successful regatta with sparkling blue sea, perfect year-round temperatures, and a constant, welcome breeze. Sailors can compete in the three days of racing while supporters can root for their favorite teams as "The Real Different Regatta" kicks off in the center of the main town of Willemstad along the colorful handelskade – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
This international sailing competition is a great opportunity for a large group of participants and supporters to compete for titles in this sport and experience our beautiful island or simply be our guest and cheer on those teams from the sidelines of the Otrobanda (the other side) and Punda (the point).
Guests can delight in the many on-island activities, including performances from world renowned music artists, our wonderful beaches and delicious cuisine.
The Curaçao Tourist Board is a non-profit foundation subsidized by the Island Government of Curaçao, with the assignment to develop sustainable tourism in order to support of the island’s economic growth. As the Curaçao Tourist Board we want to promote Curaçao as a unique and diverse island destination offering safety, eco-friendly environment, and distinctive attractions that will make it the most sought-after Caribbean destination.
