Dear members of the media, Greetings! It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2nd Heineken Regatta Curacao. Heineken and Curacao Sailing Festival are already in full preparation for the Heineken Regatta Curacao 2009. Please find below all the information about registration, press conferences, press releases and our media boats etc. Our organisation is always ready to help you with any questions media-related and to make sure you will not miss a thing of the Heineken Regatta Curacao 2009.
Media Registration Hours
Media can subscribe during the registration hours of the Captains on Thursday November 5th in Maritime Museum between 5.00PM and 7.00 PM. Also it is possible to register by sending a mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Media Boats
Media boats are available so that also the press can get some taste of the action on the water. The initial allocation for media boats will be made during registration. Media personnel will meet at the Sails restaurant, situated above Maritime Museum, at 10.30 am on saturday November 7th. Here the further program will be communicated. Please be there on time as the boats will have to leave as planned in order to make it to the start in time. Note: media personnel are advised to bring sun tan lotion and any other sun protection you require as it may be very hot on the water.

Race Results
Provisional race results will be available daily from the media centre and on the internet as soon as they are made available to us by the race committee. It is also possible to subscribe to twitter and connect to the Heineken Regatta Curacao where the results will also be presented. Click here to get started with twitter. On the final day, race results for that day will be publicly posted as usual. The press will however be given the final cumulative results as soon as possible, so they may conduct interviews.
