World championship 5.5 class

The International 5.5 mR Class comes to the Caribbean with the world championships in January 2013 in Curacao
The regatta will be hosted by the Curacao 5.5M class association, races will be held in front of the Sta. Barbara Beach Resort where spectators will have a spectacular view on the courses.

The International 5.5 Metre Class is a class of racing yachts initially designed under the rules of the International Yacht Racing Union (IYRU) that is now known as the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).
Yachts of the Class are not identical but have to be strictly built as per the Class Rating Rules.
